Sunday Education for Children & Youth

Sunday School - Choir age 2 – 5 and 1st - 8th grade begins right after the AM service.
Catechism - Two groups with grades 7&8 and 9-12.

Stars (girls 1st - 8th grade) - Meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays from 6:30-8 pm. Led by Chris Stroven and various women from the congregation.
Cadets (boys 1st - 8th grade) - Meets on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays from 6:30-8 pm. Led by Bill Hovinga and various men from the congregation.
Junior High Youth Group (7th & 8th grades) - Meets periodically for service projects and outings.
High School Youth Group (9th - 12th grades) - Meets on the 1st and 3rd Sundays following the evening worship. Also there are service projects and scheduled outings.
Beyond - For those beyond their high school years and not yet married. Meets on the 2nd and 4th Sundays after the evening service.

Church History - (led by Pastor Bob and Jeff Wyman)
For 9th-12th Grade and any interested adults. We will be studying church history from the close of the NT until this century using lectures, readings and DVD's
Shepherding A Child's Heart - (led by Elder Ken Leiffers) - This is the study of Ted Tripp's book by this name and corresponding workbook. Course is designed mainly for parents with younger children. Class will meet during the Sunday School hour after morning worship.
Discipleship Class - (Doug and Carol De Vos)
Members share what they have learned from their daily devotions, recite memorization of God's word and spend time in prayer. This encourages and holds individual members accountable to each other and God.
Becoming a Noble Woman - (led by Sandi VanManen)
God’s master plan for the ideal wife and mother by Anita Young. This course will unfold God’s plan for your life based on Proverbs 31.

Thursday AM (led by Pastor Bob) - Meets from 9:30 - 11 am (Although most people arrive by 9:15 for a time of fellowship over coffee and bake goods). This year we will be studying the book of Nehemiah, Malachi, and then inter testamentary period before beginning a study of one of the Gospels. Study questions are available each week. There is no nursery
Wednesday Night (led by Pastor Bob) - Meets from 6:30 - 8 pm on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays. We will be studying through Exodus, Leviticus and Numbers. Study questions are available for each lesson. Nursery is provided.

Adult Choir - Meets prior to the evening worship service. Practices are scheduled as needed.
Ensembles - Musicians are encouraged to participate and play at various services throughout the year.
